Knowles described Greta as “mentally ill” in an interview, citing her family’s autobiography. Everyone has rushed to condemn him. In the book, released last year, her parents detail Greta’s struggles w/depression & severe anxiety. She stopped eating, talking & going to school.
Greta suffers from OCD & selective mutism. Her sister, Beata, is also autistic, and has OCD as well. The family autobiography details the painful struggles of the two daughters because of their illnesses.
Greta is cheered by adults for her “climate strike” work, which she’s done for awhile and it involves skipping school. But she doesn’t skip just any school, she attended an academy for students with special needs—one that has limited spots for children in need of extra help.
