Michael Gove just claimed the Government's £100 million propaganda campaign that directs traffic to their absurdly inadequate website (see link below) provides all the info the public needs to understand the impacts and opportunities of no deal.
gov.uk/brexit
But of course it does nothing of the sort. It gives information about some of the things people and businesses will have to do to get ready for no deal. But it is completely silent on food shortages, medicine shortages and other problems raised in Operation Yellowhammer.
And now he's insulting Joanna Cherry and the SNP. Bizarre.
Wow, Gove trying to use the ECHR to defend the Government against what he describes as a "fishing expedition". That would be the same ECHR that the Tories want to dismantle...
Gove just dodged a stiletto question from Dominic Grieve trying to find out why the Government didn't sign affidavits in any of the court cases. Babbled his way out and ran the clock down.
And now they're voting on it. The real 🔥 will come after if the vote passes, and the Government decides to ignore the humble address anyway. More court cases?
Forgot to mention that Gove the hypocrite also brought up GDPR legislation as a reason not to comply with the demand for documents. That would be the *EU*'s data protection law.
