Hilarious to watch liberals twist into pretzels to criticize Trump for supporting zero interest rates, which represent a euthanization of rentier interest income tobondholder class and the elimination of one of the most regressive and unproductive subsidy programs in existence.
Obviously that's not Trump's motivation, but as a matter of policy this is a more progressive approach to fiscal financing than any Democratic president since Truman.
Silver medal to the technocratic econ wonks who oppose this on the grounds that it makes monetary policy more impotent in the next downtown, as though 1) it isn't already impotent; 2) doubling down on the hope monetary policy isn't impotent is part of why it continues to endure.
