Our #AfricanGoodNews for the week is from Nigerian, Dr Osatohanmwen Osemwengie who makes drones for the world’s most powerful army, the United States Army. He has 7 Masters degrees 3 doctorate degrees. #ForAfricaByAfricans
He served as an administrator at the College of Education Benin, where he was named Educator of the Year for securing funding used to design and implement pre-service teacher education programs.
Osemwengie, made a name for himself at the 2008 world robotics championship. He coaches in robotics, is a software engineering mentor to robotic teams, and also works with NASA.

He has successfully sent drones to different planets, including Mars and Jupiter.
The Nigerian-born genius from Edo state is now an integral member of the US armed forces. His drones are used by the US Army for surveillance to gather important information, as well as take out terrorist camps. He is very involved with NASA’s Next Mars Rover 2020 launch plans
He is CEO of a drones company – Ubiquity Interface Inc. He founded the Open Robotics University, described as one of the world’s first tuition-free, engineering degree-granting universities in the world.
With Osemwengie’s help, Nigeria recently joined other countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Israel and Iraq to adopt the use of drones in modern warfare, especially in the wake of havoc being wrecked by terrorist group, Boko Haram.
With his help, we hope Nigeria can also join the world to use drones to solve myriads of challenges, particularly, in health to help distribute medical supplies to remote areas in minutes instead of hours. In Rwanda and Malawi, drones are used to deliver medical supplies
Hey African, what solution will you create?
What problem will you solve?
Will you be the NEXT BIG thing coming out of Africa? Arise today and become ALL you were born to be.
