(2,3) When @Alyssa_Milano, @DadoftheDecade and I met with @SenTedCruz, we had a genuine conversation. Clearly he did not mean what he said about the way we talk to and about each other. We tried. Sadly, he is who he is.
(3,3) Senator, just as you are not going to Mexico to collect on a wall that is not getting built, I am not trying to take away guns. I was hoping for a genuine conversation with you. Clearly, you are not interested.

, thank you for this ridiculous point and truly silly comparison. A couple of points. A skateboard could not have made it through 3 stories of my daughters school and murdered her the way an AR 15 did.
(2,3) However, if a skateboard did, I would be free to sue and hold the skateboard manufacturers accountable. Because of PLCAA, I cannot do so with gun manufacturers. Are you for repealing PLCAA and giving me that ability?
(3,3) Lastly, the operator of the skateboard chose how they used it and appropriate safety equipment ahead of time. My daughter did not choose to be shot and considering the violent and surprise nature of the attack had no chance of protection. Are you for providing kids armor?

(1,6) One of the biggest @NRA lies is the "Slippery Slope" argument. They have used this argument to keep gun safety legislation from being passed. In fact, the Current Occupant Of The White House uses this argument. IT IS A LIE.
(2,6) We have been on a slippery slope for years of loosening gun laws. We see that with open carry. This photo with @MomsDemand is an example of the slippery slope. Some may call this open carry, I call this Open intimidation allowed by law.
(3,6) How do we know good guys from bad guys. We don't and that is why we need background checks and ERPO's. Rather than agreeing on basic things like this, you have @GregAbbott_TX furthering the slippery slope by enacting laws today that only weaken gun laws in TX.

Due to current influx of election concerned followers, I'd like to remind everyone that Ted Cruz's campaign sent voter/supporter data and polling data to a Russian national named Yaroslav "Yarek" Leontenko (through his work as a web app developer at AggregateIQ).

Yaroslav's work included contributing to and modifying the code in Ted Cruz's "CruzCrew" campaign phone app.
Through his employer, Yaroslav also had access to the wealth of details within the GOP's Data Trust voter database (as AggregateIQ could pull from it).
On at least one occasion, Yaroslav's sister referred to him, on social media, as "from rus mafia".
