Pres Ramaphosa sends a mission to apologise for the "xenophobic" violence against foreign immigrants. But the violence was directed at Nigerian drug dealers and drug lords and human traffic traders. One has just been given multiple life sentences and over
200 yrs in jail. I challenge any SAn to deny that Nigerians dominate these evil trades. And the president found it morally justifiable that our emissaries my go and kneel to leaders in Nigeria and apologise for a justifiable community action to cleanse
itself of these evil crimes. He should be demanding solemn apologies from them for the criminal conduct of their citizens here instead. Communities have been ravaged by these criminals. And the police knew about it and did Nothing.
The politicians have heard the cries and pleadings for intervention and yet they ignored them. Their standard response is 'learn to live in harmony with these illegal foreign nationals ' Good heavens. They are comfortable in their secure surbubs
while the poor are being battered by criminal elements. What type of leadership is this that can find rationality in going to apologise for their failure to protect us. Many parts of the CBDs of our towns and cities have been colonised by these illegal
immigrant thugs the majority of which are Nigerians. I am not referring to the wonderful Nigerians with proper documentation and who have contributed to this economy. The government have abandoned the poor communities. This "we are sorry mission" is wrong.
