1/4 1am tweet I’ll probably regret later. Today I went to the dr to get a steroid shot for a sore throat & she has me try a CBD oral spray for anxiety. Two hours later I’m eating (cold) lo mein and the side of my tongue suddenly feels like I burned it.
2/4 Out of nowhere there’s a giant black spot on my tongue like a goddam ancient pirate warning. 6 hours later it’s turning red in the center, like a blood blister under the skin. Wtf.
3/4 Brace yourself. Here it fucking is. I tried to look punk-rock but it’s still the most regrettable photo I’ve posted in weeks. Y’all, I am so so sorry. 
4/4. It is not “hairy black tongue” which is a real thing and sounds like a death-metal porno. Also, I can’t go to the dr bc I’m leaving for Italy in a matter of hours bc OF COURSE I AM. My question is, am I going to die? (Within the next week, I mean.)
