Anti-vaxx Twitter making a big push tonight for the “Most Hilarious Twitter of 2019” Emmy.

1) Mercury

Many types of mercury exist in nature.

METHYLmercury builds up in the nervous system and can cause damage (Mad Hatter).

ETHYLmercury is broken down much more quickly in the body and is rapidly excreted. It is sometimes used as a preservative in specific #vaccines
2) Aluminum

Commonly occurring in vegetables (especially spinach!) and... wait for it... breast milk.

Average pre-vaccine aluminum blood level in a baby: 5 ng.

Avg post-vaccine Al level: 5ng.

Cumulative dose of Al in 1st 6 mo vaccines: half the dose in 6mo of breast milk.
3) Polysorbate 80

An emulsifier also found (in high quantities) in ice cream, which is delicious.
4) Brainsweat

Not a thing. Also, the ability (or inability) to sweat has no bearing on inflammation.
BONUS: Formaldehyde

Commonly cited by the anti-vaxx crowd, formaldehyde is a natural byproduct of human metabolism.

The average newborn has 50-70x more formaldehyde hangin’ out in their body than exists in a vaccine.

Does it build up? Nope. #kidneys
#alsoliver
EXTRA BONUS:

Flu shot prevented ~40,000 flu-related deaths in the US over a 14-year period
