Based on Trump playbook during most important decision-making moments for Democrats, we can expect several things from POTUS/1
First, provocative tweets and statements intended to distract the news media and redirect the conversation away from impeachment and toward his latest outrageous act/2
Second, a flurry of statements calling impeachment "radical" in an effort to scare moderate Democrats away from giving Pelosi the 218 votes she wants before moving forward/3
Third, fierce character attacks on his adversaries, from Pelosi to Biden. The goal is to discredit his opponents in the public eye. This is how the administration constantly avoids dealing with the actual substance of serious charges that have been made against the president/4
Fourth--and look for Attorney General Barr to offer an assist--the promotion of a counter-narrative stating that there is nothing there, this is "fake news," and that there is allegedly “evidence” showing the charges are baseless/5
Finally, POTUS will likely offer a political carrot through executive orders or a nomination for Republicans to remain loyal/end
P.S: I should add one more thing to expect. At some point, POTUS--with an assist from Rudy Giuliani on some tv show--will say: sure I did this, but presidents are allowed to do these things.
