If Trump has his way (and that's an "if" the size of the wholeass Ukraine), no one but Guatemalans and Mexicans will be able to apply for #asylum at our southern border.

1) all of these deals are almost certainly illegal on both sides, although admittedly
2) no one seems to know exactly what is in them
3) the July Guat deal isn't in effect and doesn't seem likely to be anytime if at all
4) any future POTUS could cancel them

Even with all of the above, this is a major story and I hope it isn't buried in impeachment news
FOOTNOTE: won't be able to apply at our southern border unless they had applied and been denied asylum in the first country they passed through outside their own
