- It's just money for 6 "reconfigurations" not new hospitals with money to "plan" 36 hospitals in "the future"
- Not one is a mental health trust
- Hospitals already have a £6 billion backlog of repairs
This was the worst "promise" even a BBC journo who could be bothered could have ripped it apart. The Tories have "promised" a £10.50ph living wage by 2024 "provided..circumstances allow". (nb Labour £10ph asap).

There's so much spin and nonsense in this "promise" that I can't do it justice in this space, suffice to say it's pants. The Thread below explains better and in more detail
- £880 million has been slashed from spending on youth services in England since 2010 according to the Government's own figures.
- Their "promise" of £500 million OVER 5 years barely makes up for this.

- The Tories have slashed bus funding in England by £645 million PER YEAR and cut over 3000 routes
- The vague plan for "super buses" sometime in the future doesn't make up for this
The Tory / Fib Dem coalition FIRST promised this in 2010 to deliver this by 2015. In 2015 the Tories then promised to deliver it by 2020. They've now reheated this "promise" again for some time in the future.

This promise was made well before at conference. So far (Tues) there's no plan to make this happen but there was a session at the Conference on how to dismiss Islamophobia charges!
