And I don’t want to get into why. Just glad they came through my life when they did, and that at least Bonnie is still here.
Sorry. I should quickly add that my understanding is that Bonnie is still Performing and that Linda is retired. By “still here” I meant performing.

I never knew why the legacy media viewed our honestly discussing religiously motivated terror killings as if such a simple recognition of motive where “phobic” rather than rational. Now I am beginning to understand.
I’m unabashedly on team civilization. Al-Baghdadi was on the other team. The bad guys.

The fact that we‘re not *simple* good guys as we claim doesn’t mean we‘re ISIS. We‘re team civilization and we know that because we examine our own flaws & *crimes*. We‘re still the good guys.

This the last protest tweet of a small triptych. But these folks are rebelling for our current system against grandstanding environmentalists.

These all follow Arnold Kling’s thy:

Progressives fight oppression. Libertarians fight coercion.
Conservatives fight loss from change.
The reason I bring this up is the following. What if we looked at ourselves as being in *all* three protests:

Yes the world is oppressively rigged.

Yes I don’t want my life at the whim of someone else’s pen and gun.

Yes I want to get to work w/o being shamed by grandstanders.
I think that’s where I am; experiencing all of Arnold Kling’s three triggers simultaneously. And quite frankly, I think most of us are feeling the same. It’s too much change without enough good change. It’s too much humiliating coercion without enough coordinated self expression.

Even through stones, people have attained because it is not a question at all to what you #surrender.

You surrender, and that brings the whole thing, that opens the door. Surrendering, the effort to surrender brings an opening to you.
If you are open to stone, you become open to the whole existence, because it is only a question of opening. How can you be open to a stone, and not open to a tree?

This story (that I've been talking about all day) came up this morning, about an unidentified Russian hacker "Alexander Zh.", arrested in Bulgaria on a U.S. warrant from the Eastern District of New York.
Subsequent regional reporting has identified him as Alexander Zhukov, hacker nickname "Nastra".

He's being charged with fraudulently manipulating video viewing statistics, using a set of computers (perhaps a botnet). The actual crime is defrauding advertisers to the tune of seven million dollars. The time period charged is September 2014 to December 2016.
