I have created this thread to vent about Anchor Towers in Plein Street. The service we receive as tenants is below par compared to the exorbitant rentals we pay. Following are my gripes: 1) install CCtv cameras on every floor. You can't send out communication to
tenants telling them to insure their stuff that gets stolen when you do nothing to help hinder petty crime in your building. 2) We are being terrorised by a group of kids every day!!! The noise levels are becoming unbearable as more tenants with kids join the community.
On Saturday night, 3 adults tried to get the kid to tone it down but to no avail. The kids were running on the floors at 21H50 at night. What kind of sane parent allows a kid to play outside til that time? Why must adults be terrorised by children when we are the ones who pay
rent. They run up and down the steel stairs making noise there as well. Why don't you open the space on the 1st floor as a designated play area for kids so they don't play on the floor corridors? 3) You will always be fixing the lifts because of the kids that block the doors,
make the lift stop at every floor, call the lift up and down for no reason. Vandalism by adults as well. Install cameras in the lifts as well. 4) Get your cleaners to mop the lifts first thing in the morning. We can't be getting in the lifts and meeting vomit from the
previous night. C'mon! 5) The subletting by some of your tenants is getting out of hand. How do these people get into the building except by being let in by security downstairs? Don't you monitor why the security opens the gate for individuals when they should be using
their thumb to enter the building? 6) The maintenance log book downstairs has issues that have been unresolved for months. How long does it take to fix stuff? 7) Make curtains/blinds part of the deposit at all your flats. Anchor Towers looks like a slum when one is standing
outside. People are never going to take care of your properties if you do nothing to guide them towards taking pride in their apartments. 7) The building needs some paint. I don't understand why you don't think building maintenance is important.
8) If this feels like I am advocating a police state building, yes I am. We don't respond well to freedom unfortunately. The only language we understand is being policed and that includes installing CCtv cameras and applying the rules without fear or favour.
