When are we going to get the joint oped by 5-7 Republican Senators in @washingtonpost calling out Trump's call for foreign interference in the 2020 elections as an abuse of power? Then the dam could break.
And how do these happen? What role, if any, does a newspaper oped department play in bringing people together for this?
Not saying it is likely. But if Trump were in real trouble, this would be the sign of it.

How and why Rudy and his two henchmen and a Ukrainian oligarch fit into the story is fascinating. But none of that has to be unraveled to find the President abused his power. As I wrote @slate: slate.com/news-and-polit… /2
In sum, no matter what full Ukraine story is, the President himself admitted, even bragged, about soliciting/pressuring a foreign government who received U.S. taxpayer dollars to provide dirt on a political opponent to benefit Pres. personally. That's abuse of power. Q.E.D. /3
