NBC News KNEW. They have a pattern of covering up stories. I know. They killed mine.
I went to NBC with allegations against Russell Simmons and AJ Calloway in November 2017. They sat on it until April 2018. I then took my story to @kimmasters
at The Hollywood Reporter. They rigorously vetted my story & published in the face of severe legal threats from Simmons.

Not only did NBC kill my vetted story, they issued a false statement about their ability to verify facts in an attempt to stop the traction of @kimmasters's @THR piece when it was published in June 2018. It worked. hollywoodreporter.com/amp/features/r…
But there is NO WAY The Hollywood Reporter would have proceeded with my allegations and background on my experience with NBC if they had a whiff of uncertainty about my credibility. The legal vetting was arduous and thorough.
Bottom line is this: Believe Ronan Farrow. Believe everything he says because I have witnessed first hand how NBC will capitulate to powerful lawyers employed by powerful men.
They don't break news. They report it.

A piece of advice to all survivors: under no circumstances approach any representative of NBC News with allegations of sexual misconduct or assault that deal with a powerful perpetrator. They will 1000% throw you under the bus and back over you again.
Not only will NBC throw survivors under the bus, they will throw their own talented reporters who fought long and hard for you under the bus as well.
