this looks like very plausible identification of whistleblower
Ciaramella was noted in Apr 2018 New Yorker article on McMaster regime at NSC, which said that "right-wing blogs [described him] as a leaker out to “sabotage Trump.” Same can be said of "Whistleblower".

on October 7, 2019, Ukrainian newspaper Babel published memoranda minuting Giuliani's interview with Ukraine Prosecutor General Lutsenko on Jan 25-26 and with former Prosecutor General Shokin on Jan 23. Has anyone seen a report on documents in US media?

2/ the documents were provided by Giuliani to State Dept Inspector General in May 2019. IG then sent to FBI. IG forwarded to congressional committees on Oct 2, saying that documents had been provided to them by the "Acting Legal Advisor". For those wondering about Giuliani's role
3/ I've spent a few hours extracting jpg's from html page, doing OCR and manually editing the documents since I haven't been able to locate pdf's anywhere.

given all the handwringing by environmentalist NGOs and Cdn government about sea level rise of about 3 feet/century, they inconsistently promoted a 2016 change in dam management policy which resulted in 3 ft rise in Lake Ontario max levels in 3 years and disdain all complaints
2/ New York state government has sued the International Joint Commission (a joint federal Cdn-federal US agency responsible for managing lake levels). Their pleadings state problem well. courthousenews.com/wp-content/upl…
3/ from a larger policy perspective, it is hard for me to understand why the (already execrable on other grounds) Crystia Freeland and Justin Trudeau worry about possible 3 feet sea level rise in Nova Scotia in a century but not about same Lake Ontario rise in 3 years?

other attendees were Jeffrey Cole, Anna Iemelianova, Catherine Newcombe, David Sakvarelidze, Svetlana Pardus, Artem Sytnyk, Andiy Telizhenko (latter three discussed by @Fool_Nelson)
@FOOL_NELSON David Sakvarelidze was from Georgia and had been installed by Biden/US into Ukraine Prosecutor General's Office. He appears to have been hated by PG Shokin, whose last act in ofice, only minutes before he was finally terminated, was to fire Sakvarelidze

The @nytimes just revealed the gender and position of the #whistleblower.
Trump just said that the whistleblower should be punished with death.
During the Bush administration it was right wing media who revealed Valerie Plame's identity.
Is the NYT now working with Trump?
Make no mistake--the @nytimes just deliberately and knowingly put the safety of the whistleblower at risk.
They tread very carefully with whistleblowers during the Obama administration (yes, there were several).

New from Jeff, analyzing the revelations from James Baker transcript. Adding my two cents here
We know for sure that Steele was in Washington DC at least three times right before the election (end of July, mid Sept, mid Oct)

If you split the dossier installments into three and overlay the Steele visits you get somewhat proportional chunks of installments
The dossier installment with the Alfa (misspelled as Alpha) bank revelation is dated Sept 14, 2016 but it's only two pages

"Alpha" isn't mentioned again in the dossier

First, what does “award-winning history professor” have to do with anything? Have you ever seen a more desperate appeal to authority? I wasn’t ready to take Kantrowitz at his word, but now that you mention he is an award-winning history professor, well, that changes everything!
Second, Mayer could’ve taken all of two minutes to Google Kantrowitz’s position on Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Had she done this, she would’ve found he’s about as partisan as they come.
