The @nytimes just revealed the gender and position of the #whistleblower.
Trump just said that the whistleblower should be punished with death.
During the Bush administration it was right wing media who revealed Valerie Plame's identity.
Is the NYT now working with Trump?
Make no mistake--the @nytimes just deliberately and knowingly put the safety of the whistleblower at risk.
They tread very carefully with whistleblowers during the Obama administration (yes, there were several).

Actually many public-spirited people like myself thought--as I wrote back in Nov 2016--that we needed a recount in PA, MI & WI & that we needed a new election like every other nation on earth has when there is vote tampering.
You should have called for this. Everyone should have.
In February 2017, while reporting on Sally Yates and Mike Flynn, I wrote that Trump must resign or be impeached.
Then I reported on clear violations of the emoluments clause. There were so many things between then and now. Plus all the criminals Trump worked with.
This week people--members of Congress-- were actually parsing the difference between Trump conspiring with a foreign country to bring down a rival in 2016 versus now. Such parsing has continued to re-set the bar lower, like the limbo.
At some point acknowledge your role in this.

The reason @KamalaHarris's interrogation of Barr is so critical is because this is what is at the heart of the exchange in the #UkraineWhistleblower complaint and the #Zelenskiy phone call.

AG Barr was being asked EXPLICITLY by Trump to help #Ukraine open an investigation of the Bidens.
Problematic here is that Barr is--yet again--in charge of evaluating his own behavior. And we know how that went with the Mueller Report.

And we have to question why Trump was talking about @HillaryClinton today in his presser.
Trump wants to draw the link between the case against Hillary that he has built with his base since the election and this latest scandal--to neutralize the Democrats.

1. I'm not going to ID his name or link to his fucking manifesto but the apprehended shooter is exactly the type of alt-right shithead one would expect. And not surprisingly he claimed to have also attacked a Mosque.
1. The shape of violent white nationalist anti-Semitism is clear: the ideology is replacement theory (i.e. Jews are using immigrants to displace whites). The problem is that this thinking is not confined to extreme but has counterpart among respectable right (i.e. Soros baiting)
2. It's best to think of Nazis & alt-light as two wings of the same movement, the violent terrorist wing and the reputable public wing. The alt-light have real positions in Trump administration, congress & right-wing media. They echo in muted form the core ideas of Nazis.

1. No, Moon did not ‘lie’ to Trump. He put negotiation’s best foot forward. Trump then did no due diligence, & US right-wing media de-linked from reality w/ its Nobel hype.

suggested Moon’s admin deceived Trump. That is not so, and I purposely avoided that sort of language. I’d bet on the following: Kim Jong Un talked broadly of de-nuking to the S Koreans (). This was pitched to Trump in an upbeat way, as one would expect /2
from a SK government very obviously deeply committed to negotiations with NK. That is not lying; that is persuading/arguing/lobbying.

The problem is that Trump immediately jumped to an answer without chewing it over, kicking it around w/ advisors, soliciting the NKs directly, /3
