Even if double customs could work it would impose huge new frictional costs for business meaning competitiveness would be wrecked.
NI would be completely dependent on handouts from the UK.

By being completely out of a customs union, there would be nothing to stop Johnson and his mates flogging off the NHS to Trump who already says “it’s on the table, absolutely.”

Why any MP let alone Labour MPs are considering voting for it is beyond me.
