The fact that most Jewish atheists don't view it as necessary or even desirable to get other Jews to stop practicing Judaism should tell you something about how Christian the worldview of New Atheism is.

Like, many Jewish atheists (and many Jewish non-atheists) have issues with elements of Jewish practice (especially around sexism), but you see very few of them trying to convince other Jews not to believe in any sort of divine presence.
That's probably because Judaism is primarily about practice rather than belief, and not giving a shit about what you believe as long as you're behaving (or not behaving) a certain way carries over into Jewish atheism.
So the majority of Jewish atheists will fight their theist brethren on politics, sexist practice, etc. but are largely uninterested in the specifics of what other Jews think about whether there's a divine order to the universe.
There are actually a lot of ways to do atheism, so it's troubling that the loudest one is also, y'know, colonialist and evangelistic.
