Richard Smith, a millionaire business-owner, donated £100,000. Smith is noted to have funded the relocation of right-wing group, TaxPayers' Alliance.
Tax Payers Alliance are known for pushing deregulation and calling for tax cuts for the wealthy.

Turning Point is the British arm of the Trump-supporting youth organisation Turning Point USA.

Social media analysis of many of its key Twitter supporter accounts show signs of irregularity.
The Institute for Strategic Discourse found the top 5 Brexit tweeting accounts were churning out an average of 3.3 tweets a minute over an 8 hour period!
Jacob Harvey, lead researcher at the Institute noted: "the Brexit Party's great online performance is in part being driven by dodgy tactics."
