This is important to women's complaints about the shortage of "dateable" men, in that women's unrealistic expectations mean that the only men deemed "dateable" are those with relatively rare qualities, e.g., above-average height. @RationalMale
@RationalMale This goes to what I've called The 1-in-7 Rule: Only about 15% of the male population is naturally attractive to such an extent that, from a young age, they obtain female romantic companionship with little effort.
@RationalMale The 1-in-7 Rule means a majority of men (~85%) can only obtain female romantic companionship through persistent effort (self-improvement, developing "game," etc.) and even then, such men are at risk of losing out if any "Alpha" (Top 15%) male takes an interest in their woman.
@RationalMale By age 16 or so, the so-called Alpha males -- the Top 15%, or 1-in-7, who are *naturally* attractive to women -- are already in a position to pick and choose among many willing female romantic companions. The lower 85% have few, if any, options.
@RationalMale From the typical adolescent female's perspective, the vast majority of her male classmates in high school are completely undesirable as romantic partners. She only welcomes attention from *attractive* males (the ones deemed "popular") and such males are scarce.
@RationalMale The teenage girl has been raised on a media diet of "romantic" stories in which the desirable male -- tall, muscular, handsome, confident -- provides the Happily Ever After fairy-tale ending. To date any man below this Prince Charming Standard is disdained as "settling."
@RationalMale There is a mismatch between the typical young women's romantic expectations and the reality of options available to her. Much of this can be explained by the influence of media, although peers, parents and the school system often reinforce such unrealistic expectations.
@RationalMale A "Red Pill" slogan describes how many women behave in the contemporary sexual marketplace: "Alpha F**ks, Beta Bucks." In her youthful prime (late teens, early 20s), she seeks adventure with sexy Bad Boys. Only as she ages out of that window will she settle for the Nice Guy.
@RationalMale #RedPill guys like @RationalMale are denounced as "misogynists" by feminists, not because they are anti-woman, but simply because they call attention to the gap between what women SAY about relationships and sexuality, and what women actually DO in terms of observed behavior.
@RationalMale #RedPill philosophy, in its best expression, is about encouraging men to discard unrealistic expectations and instead to accept the reality of female sexual behavior patterns. Why do feminists hate this so much? Because informed and realistic men are less easy to manipulate.
@RationalMale Something else: Feminists have zero sympathy for the average man's situation. Feminism is a hate movement based upon the demonization of males as the enemy, and this enemy never deserves sympathy. Insofar as #RedPill philosophy helps men, this is BAD, according to feminists.
@RationalMale This is why Rule One a young man should be taught is, "Never take advice from feminists." He should learn to ignore feminist rhetoric about "equality." He must recognize that the goal of feminism to destroy him. The feminist movement is entirely destructive in its purpose.
@RationalMale Every young man should understand that any woman who calls herself a feminist views him as an enemy. He is seen by her as inherently inferior, deserving nothing but contempt, and whatever "advice" the feminist might give him is based on that view, e.g.:
