I knew this & have seen them at many protests in the city - hadn’t realised they’d spread their, er, wings to London & beyond as much as they had.

This was called #BristolBlocks, designed by Bristolians Ruby & Dimi, & put outside #TateModern this week as part of @ExtinctionR

A directions hearing was held for the controversial case of the police officer who Tasered Ras @Justice4Judah but it didn't happen...

Everyone attended what I imagine the prosecution, defence & judge via video link from Westminster assumes would be a formal yet cordial chat about admission of evidence in the case where a police officer is charged with assault.
It was thought that the defence would seek a ruling restricting the evidence admissible in this case.
But he didn’t. Instead, with press: (me from @BristolLive @stevenmorris20 @clairehayhurst @PollitaMarch) he said he wanted to ask if some evidence could be heard ‘in camera’

Take VW for example; if you look only at deliveries you could get the impression that China is indeed very important.

But that is not the whole picture. Most of the cars sold in China are older/cheaper models like the VW Santana which is often used for taxi fleets. This way you get high delivery numbers but low revenue and profit compared to e.g. the European market.

Back in 1997 there was a landmark case in Germany that determined that people who'd labored in the Lodz Ghetto would get credit toward German Social Security for that work.
