FYI, this story, already has a correction which makes it a kind of non story. The Russian isn't editing eggs/zygotes of prospective deaf parents (which would imply he's closing in on a baby) but of healthy tissue donors (which isn't news cause he & others did it before.)
now that i search this supposed Lenin quote, i don't see it anywhere. so might have been made up, which is also interesting.
