You can't just name-check these countries as evidence of the EU being bad and ignore the explicitly pro-European populations that inhabit them
The large majority of Labour MPs, Labour MEPs, Labour members, Labour voters, the trade union movement in the UK and the rest of Europe and left-wing voters in other European countries, including those worst hit by the crisis, are all pro-EU
There's no serious competition here for which position truly represents the left
