NEWS: U.S. budget deficit spikes to $984 billion — a 26% increase over last year, Treasury Department says.

@katiadmi It wasn't just the hard-right that said the tax cut would pay for itself. Here's @SenatorCollins in 12/2017 insisting to @ChuckTodd it would, despite all evidence to the contrary.
