People need to understand that Fox's commitment to a false reality is all consuming and facts don't matter. If you watched that network in late 2008 you would have believed that on election day McCain was going to win every state plus DC.
It is relentless in it's devotion to unreality. So don't use it as a gauge for how Trump is really doing. He could be minutes away from removal or arrest or whatever and Fox would be saying his rivals are about to collapse and fold.
One advantage is that Trump is so dumb he believes Fox reflects reality. So as Hannity and co sell the image that he's winning while his presidency is consumed in excrement and failure, he will parrot that absolutely made up scenario.
I say all this because I think liberals look at fox and say “they don’t seem worried, maybe none of this is working.” Fox will never reflect this reality. They won’t ditch Trump until he’s 100% unviable then like with Bush they’ll pretend none of this happened.
Fox will go from “President Trump is invincible” to “President Democrat is failing” and people like us will go “wait wait how did you just flip like that without dealing with how the former led to the latter?” For Fox, it simply doesn’t matter.
