@ewarren I’m all-in for Senator Warren because beating Trump isn’t enough. We need a president who will fix the corrupt, broken system that made the Trump Presidency possible and @ewarren has a plan for that:

@ewarren Like so many of you, I have watched the caucus campaign unfold for the past ten months and I have been impressed by so many of the candidates in the field. We have a historically great slate of candidates, and every single one of them would be a massive improvement over Trump.

@ewarren My two questions for every single Democratic candidate I’ve met with have been simple. First, why do you think Trump won? Second, can you beat him? For me, Warren aced both of these answers.

@ewarren First, @EWarren understands Trump is a symptom of a broken system, not a cause unto himself. She clearly sees that Trump won in 2016 because of the following:

@ewarren (1) A “divide-and-conquer” style of politics that pits us against each other based on race, gender, and religion and keeps us at each others' throats while millionaires, billionaires, and massive monopolies have been busy extracting the wealth of our nation and of our people.

@ewarren (2) That rigged economy has hollowed out the American middle class, as the owners of capital extract more and more money from hard working people. You can see for yourself the rigging of our economy in this chart.

@ewarren (3) A decades-long attack on the ability of government to solve the American people’s most pressing problems. In 1958, 73% of Americans trusted the federal government to do the right thing. Today, that number is 18%. Read more here: medium.com/@SenWarren/my-…

@ewarren Combined, these forces (plus an attack on our Democracy by Russian agents) made Trump’s election possible. We must elect someone who will confront them head on.

I believe @EWarren will defeat Donald Trump precisely because of her commitment to tackling these challenges.

@ewarren President Warren’s first and most important legislative priority will be an anti-corruption bill to ban lobbying as we know it, get money out of politics, and end voter suppression. This will clear the way to finally fix our broken economy and rebuild America's middle class.

@ewarren Donald Trump is a terrible president, but the forces that made his presidency possible must be defeated as well. We can never again have president like Trump, who believes himself to be above the rule of law and that only some Americans are true Americans.

@ewarren Winston Churchill said you can judge a person by her enemies. The corrupt lobbyists, the big banks, the massive monopolies, and white nationalists are most terrified of President Elizabeth Warren. I’m caucusing for @EWarren because she scares the bejesus out of the right people.

@ewarren Donald Trump and his enablers have gravely wounded our Republic. It may take a generation to repair the damage to our international standing, reverse his tax scam giveaway to millionaires and billionaires, and heal the division he has sowed.

@ewarren There have been moments in American history that demanded big, structural change. This is one of them. America needs a president with broad vision and deep conviction. @EWarren has them both in spades. She will be the most transformative president since LBJ — and maybe since FDR.
