..in assuming that there would be a problem in playing Mr. Jacksons music, following a now debunked film that featured proven liars who fabricated stories to fill their pockets with blood $$ No mention at all, that the one sided hit-piece propaganda film was laced with misstruths
..discrepancies, falsehoods & multiple reshoots using emotionally manipulative filming. Not once, did you question the 'other side of the story,' nor point out that the film was put together by powerful white men in the media who had set about slandering an innocent dead black..
..FATHER..or a mention about how his own grieving children might be feeling, whilst white men like yourself write articles about whether we should be celebrating his art & legacy, like those who have nothing to gain but making money off his name, spending their time destroying it
You're a leading writer for a global brand that helps to inform & inspire fathers & families everywhere. How dare you tell parents to not dress their children in a 'THRILLER' costume? Who do you think you are?! Countless kids everywhere dressed up as it today including my own son
As a father, it's not MJ's 'THRILLER' you should be denying your daughter, although it is a real shame she's missing out on the wonderment & magic of his art because of her own fathers ignorance & laziness to do his research. One day, she may have a different perspective -
..as all the information is readily available. From one dad to another Ryan, perhaps instead of being part of the lynchmob that targets a man no longer here to defend himself, why dont you do the right thing &instead teach your daughter about the rule of law & legal due process?
Are you aware that the accusers have had their cases thrown out on 2 occasions due to their ever-changing stories (amongst other reasons)? That they are seeking HUNDREDS of millions of dollars on appeal? That the falsely accused are victims too? C'mon Ryan, where is your head at?
Maybe sit down & watch #SquareOne with your daughter when the time is right? Teach her to use critical thinking & to question peoples motives and agendas, especially that of major TV corporations, out to make money no matter who gets hurt in the process. Squareonemj.com
Its your job & mine as Father's to teach our children these vital life skills. Maybe do the decent thing & remove the article altogether & spare a thought for Michael Jacksons own kids. Until then sadly, I'll struggle to ever take seriously or promote any future features of yours
