Farage seems subdued, not the jubilant figure he was during the European elections.
He's giving Johnson's deal both barrels though. Sounds like he's going for it.
ARTICLE 24! Full retro. All the dingbat bullshit is back once again.
So Farage offers a deal to Johnson: Drop your treaty and we'll form an alliance. Won't happen.
This then triggers his threat: The Brexit party campaigning hard on how bad the deal is and to contest every seats in England, Scotland and Wales.
Yummy.
Even more fun: Farage says if Tory MPs renounce the deal, he won't campaign against them.
This all sounds highly amusing.
I suppose I should mention, for old time's sake, that what Farage is saying about the deal makes no sense on its own terms.
He's complaining about the terms set by the EU on a future FTA. That's not the withdrawal agreement. That basically gave him what he wanted.
If he objects to the way the DUP have been treated, then what is his alternative?
But anyway, who cares. I am very happy with the idea that he will try to convince those Leavers who'd never listen to Remainers that the deal is terrible.
