People on the left with more privilege tend to have different priorities than those with less privilege. That’s how privilege works.
And when privileged people assume their priorities are the only right ones, and demean less privileged people for disagreeing? That’s bigotry.

How it ends up is always some version of “you don’t prioritize the subset of issues that affect people like me? then you must not be a true progressive. you’re letting [civil rights/women’s rights/equality] distract you from taking on the establishment.”
As if white straight male supremacy isn’t part of the establishment. As if they’re not participating in that establishment, by turning their privilege and self-centeredness and complicity into a badge of honor.
