Let's thank veterans by not condescending to them with moronic platitudes
Thanking veterans on an individual basis is fine, but if you can read one book about the Vietnam War (just to pick one war) and still proclaim the US military the "most moral on the planet," you are using veterans as a political ploy to whitewash history
Shapiro is making a gratuitous political statement and masking it as a generic, respectful Veterans Day greeting. If you can't see that, think a bit harder.
