3/20 Morgan is a Holocaust denier. He shares a Holocaust denying post from antisemitic hate site vidrebel. It says the Holocaust and ‘false charges of antisemitism’ both need to be destroyed as they are the foundation for ‘illicit Israel’.

In this video Bird downplays Labour antisemitism, talking about false accusations and ‘witch-huntery’.
2/13 ‘Just Jews’ previous video featured JVL member, Cllr Sue Lukes. She made similar claims about not witnessing antisemitism, but her story had inconsistencies. Similar claims by JVL leaders have also been disproved
3/13 ‘Just Jews’ claim they are “broadening the debate”. But this is clearly untrue - three out of their four videos feature JVL members, all downplaying antisemitism as you’d expect.

2/12 Politically active, Ben is co-chair of Sheffield Labour Students and regional officer for Redbridge Young Labour. At the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) he seconded a proposal to boycott Israel.
3/12 Ben went to the JVL counter rally, in opposition to the ‘enough is enough’ demo against Labour antisemitism by the Jewish community.

There he screamed in the faces of Jewish people objecting to antisemitism.

Anthropologists get really excited when someone asks us to design research, so when Save the Children #Myanmar contacted me about this project I was thrilled. There are a lot of truisms about internet use in Myanmar that haven’t really been tested empirically.
For instance, the idea that ‘Facebook is the internet’ is so prevalent its hardly ever questioned. We wanted to design a piece of research that would actually enable us to look into people’s digital worlds, to see how they constructed and maintained them.

#Puntland region of Somalia is the only entity that demands establishment of clan borders in the Horn of Africa.

#Somaliland, #Ethiopia, #Djibouti and even #Somalia reject ethnic borders, so why does PL insist?

The answer lies in #Puntland's demographic problem.
It appears that in the absence of reliable census data post the Somali civil war, #Puntland has managed to successfully inflate their population figures in published estimates by various orgs.

In reality, this region has always been the most sparsely inhabited area in the horn..
For starters, the region we refer to as #Puntland today was historically known as #Majeerteenia pre and immediately post the union of #Somaliland and #Somalia.

The discrimination faced by Caster Semenya today is another example of the intense ignorance faced by women athletes who have differences in their sex traits. Intersex women are women. Trans women are women. ALL women's bodies are different. #thread theguardian.com/sport/2019/may…
Caster Semenya is a record-making South African runner. She was thrown into the spotlight for having higher than average natural testosterone levels, and traits that some critiqued as being not 'feminine' enough, as if there is one way to look like and be a woman.
Caster has never used the word 'intersex' to describe herself, and her medical information was leaked because of the scale of her case. We want to acknowledge Caster's violated privacy, while we express outrage over the discrimination her case represents.

Imagine you are in a private library. On the far wall, you see two old, large books.

One of the books, decorated & ornate is titled 'Truth' the other is non-descript and has no title.
The beautiful book titled 'Truth' is filled with illustrations, and thousands of authors have helped write it.

The back jacket is filled with amazing and positive reviews.

World leaders applaud the book.

Teachers use the book in schools.

No one says bad things about it.
The untitled book is covered with dust.

It appears as if it has not been opened.

As you look through it, everything is unfamiliar.

Except, you have heard the words from your family. The words are comforting and speak of the values that you hold dear to your heart.
