1/I occasionally get neo-Luddites telling me that I'm like a climate denier because I say that automation isn't killing jobs or reducing pay. To them, the pernicious effects of automation are as clear and obvious and well-established as global warming.

Except they're wrong.
2/Neo-Luddites generally bring three types of "evidence" to support their case that automation is killing jobs.

The first is anecdotes.

"I know people who lost their jobs", "I've seen automation and it's scary", and so on.

These, of course, prove nothing.
3/The second kind of "evidence" Neo-Luddites bring is *forecasts*.

There are plenty of "studies" confidently telling us how many jobs will be eliminated by automation, or how many jobs are at risk from automation.

Americans tend to favor:
A) more border security
B) legalization of the undocumented
C) more admission of refugees

They are split on the desirability of deportations.
Immigration opinions do break down along partisan lines.

BUT, about half of Dems support increased border security, while about half of GOP supports legalization of the undocumented, and over half of the GOP supports increasing refugee admissions.
Dem support for deportations has fallen since Trump got elected, while GOP support for refugee admissions has increased.

It’s part of China’s overall world domination goal, the AI goal to be completed by 2030.
China has utilized their “Thousand Talents” program to recruit people who’ve gained knowledge in specific industries in the west to help advance the Communist party’s objectives.
In this case, they’ve collaborated with Google’s head of AI, Jeff Dean, who is also a member of CCP-funded Tsinghua University’s computer science advisory committee.

Growth Hormone (GH) increases to sustain muscle mass during fasting period. As long as you have sufficient fat stores, protein oxidation stays low.
