Elected Democrats are already using the Santa Clarita shooting to push more gun laws. They don’t mention that California has all of the gun laws that Dems want nationally but they didn’t stop this maniac just like they won’t stop the next one. CA has 15 new gun laws this year!
California bans magazines with more than 10 rounds, has a 10 day waiting period, red flag laws, can’t buy most guns until 21, requires background checks, bans many semi auto rifles, 15 new gun laws signed in 2019 alone some of which are so extreme even the @ACLU opposes them.
Things that would help unlike the strict CA gun laws: More counselors + early intervention programs, teach warning signs, anonymous school reporting systems to investigate threats, warn parents when school feels a kid is at risk early on, smaller classroom sizes in public school.
