Amazing how the EU somehow thinks that /no/ people of colour in their pretend country of 500 million+ people are the best for the job at their top table.
... and a casual reminder that BAME representation in the EU Parliament will *halve* when Britain leaves.
Worth looking at the facts on attitudes towards diversity.
The EU is about as far from a beacon of enlightenment in the developed world as you can get.

Does anyone seriously believe Corbyn's claim that US food is somehow maggot infested and poisonous, but Romanian /Bulgarian food is the pinnacle of cleanliness?
Labour's scaremongering sounds too ridiculous to be true, because it is - and they know it.

US standards on contaminates are /more stringent/ than EU.

US law outlines a hard limit on contaminates over which automatic prosecution occurs. That's /on top/ of normal due diligence.

In EU countries, companies just have to argue they did their best to keep contaminates out.

19 out of the 59 MPs standing down are female.
That's 32%.

32% of all MPs at the moment are female.

The media narrative that there is a disproportionate exodus of women from this Parliament is simply not true.

By all estimations the next HoC will have the highest ♀% ever.
