GOP Leader McCarthy writes to a news organization on Congressional letterhead questioning its editorial decisions and requesting production of an unaired interview.
McCarthy’s concluding line: “It is imperative that the public be assured newsroom decisions regarding exposing human trafficking are not tampered [with] by financial interests or outside forces.”
First Amendment issues aside, I realize the whole GOP is playing to a QAnon crowd these days, but this is an odd road for them to go down regarding one of the president's close personal friends.
