Thought I’d share my all-time favorite Thanksgiving song. Maybe this day comes at a time of crisis, loss, pain, loneliness or sickness. God is the One who is, was & is to come. If you struggle to thank Him for what is or was, thank Him for what is to come->
Because, if you are in Christ, what is to come is a place where He will wipe away every tear. A place where you’re known & welcomed & loved immeasurably. A place where you will no longer be afraid or sad, sick or baffled. You will never be lonely again. You will never hurt again.
What’s to come is a new creation where all wrongs will be made right, where all faith will be made sight, where Christ the King will reign in justice & peace & everlasting joy will crown our world-weary heads. I thank God for you today. You’re Christ’s beloved. Your life matters.
