Since the 2018 #midterms I have been writing about how the 2020 nominee must be the 2024 incumbent. Over a year later people are starting to get it. If Democrats nominate Biden, Bernie or Bloomberg, it is a one-term presidency. And the new young Freedom Caucus GOP win 2024.
At the midterms I investigated how many presidents have died in office and/or had heart attacks and strokes. It's not ageism: Age IS a factor and Bernie proved that point when he had a near-fatal heart attack Oct.1. Fortunately, he got emergency surgery that saved his life.
But it is obvious how frail Biden is compared even to Bernie and Bloomberg, who are the same age. These men are all running for one term. Which leaves Democrats much more vulnerable in 2024. Read my investigation here: damemagazine.com/2018/09/04/how…

If you have lived your whole life as a voter in the US thinking we have one person = one vote, like some folks in my mentions, then in your world @HillaryClinton has been POTUS for 3years and this Trumpian hellscape doesn't exist. But in reality there is the #ElectoralCollege.

I posted a response to @ewarren taking on the #ElectoralCollege which has cheated two Democrats of the presidency in my lifetime when they won the popular vote. Throughout the rational world, this was/is viewed as a gobsmackingly bad system--because it is. Some are now upset.

I want the person who won the most votes to be POTUS. Like #WeThePeople intended. The #ElectoralCollege was meant to prop up and protect slaveowners. It should have been abolished with slavery. You should know this. If not, read up.

I often wonder if I'd be dead now, if therapy hadn't saved my life when I was suicidal. My great uncle didn't have access to therapy. He died in the same river I planned to drive my car into. Wildly irresponsible & ableist statements like this is the antithesis of helping people.
The glibness with which some people who have never experienced #depression, #anxiety, #PTSD or other mental illness address therapy, as if therapy is a foofy Starbucks coffee drink, is hard to fathom in 2019, yet seems linked to the anti-science talking points that stigmatize MI.
Seeking therapy is not easy.
Stigmatizing mental illness by dismissing the critical care that therapy is, makes it harder. People with depression are told to just get it together--something they'd never tell a person with a different life-threatening illness.

So...after a Twitter-free, news-free day, I turn on @NBCNews and after the massive #ClimateCrisis weather and #LondonBridgeAttack stories, now a HUGE story about BIDEN in #Iowa, headlined "Biden's Big Push."
The story, by top @NBCPolitics reporter @KellyO, then cuts to "the other" candidates. @KamalaHarris is also in #Iowa, where O'Donnell reports she is battling damning press, quoting the NYT characterizing an "unravelled campaign, staff infighting, poor messaging and money woes."
In SC, @amyklobuchar is asked not about Biden's endless faltering, but about Harris. Klobuchar refuses to bite the bait, saying "all campaigns have ups and downs" and "I hope she continues and I think she will."

In May, we started asking Model 3 owners about what it's like to own a Tesla, and they had a *lot* to say. We’ve crunched 500,000 words of feedback into four days of findings. Today is Part 1: Quality 1/ bloomberg.com/graphics/2019-…
