Fascinating piece on Dentons (law firm) recent report on self-id, which argues children should be allowed to change legal gender without involving medical professionals or parents, & the state should take 'action' against parents who attempt to intervene.

The report advises activists to 'tie campaigning to more popular reform' that acts as a 'veil of protection', & to avoid public campaigning/press exposure, given a lack of public understanding. Plus pesky TERFs are being platformed in the debate. In other words, avoid scrutiny.

Did the report also pass under Dentons radar? When asked to comment, a Director was offered for interview. Dentons then asked for written q's. Then, "the world's largest firm by headcount was unable to find anyone prepared to answer them, and gave a general statement instead."

The report is basically a guide to capturing the policy process & its susceptability to lobbying - which as
