There is a reason why musicians/celebrities are not foolish enough to release a new hit at a concert. Rather they perform what the people already accept that justifies the invite and the ticket purchase. If we value society enough, we will try and respect their wishes. ⛱
Our Lord Jesus Christ admonished that we launch forth and go into the world and preach the Gospel, but quite frankly many today who proclaim themselves Christians sees the Gospel as an instruction to form silos and cults in the pursuit of tithes while demonizing non members.
Across industries and our society, this is the same spirit of creating stratification and isolating others just to show that we are better than our Neighbours who can perish for all we care. But we forget that we are society. No business or venture exists in the firmament.
Many would argue that seeking attention and creating activity is an innovation by itself but sadly not in the engagement age with a critical mass of informed millennials whose perception can hardly be influenced once missed at the first opportunity.
Anyone who speaks the language of Advocacy in a polarized clime like ours will admonish that to cross the chasm you can’t play to the gallery simply because you lack activity to show. Everything you do adds to the ongoing conversation whether they fail or succeeds. Why not think?
The people care less about the brand of your advocacy or who endorses it. All they care about is the depth of inclusivity and utility. Does it work for all or does it discriminates? Is it applicable to all or is it just for a handful while others perish? 🤔
You are very much welcome to innovate but be assured that no one cares about how new your ideas are if they work. There is a reason why the masses don’t vote new faces but known names within the circle. To succeed as a new entrant you must show your understanding of the people.
Solving sociopolitical problems require as much patience as those of warriors tending the gardens despite their prowess in battle in times of peace. Apple makes revolutionary devices but not at the pace recommended by their designers for the market sake.
I’m sure most of us love to hate tech guys in our place of work because of their exoteric nature. Tech thinking without the consideration of humanities leads to failure, frustration & bankruptcy. Apple succeeds because of this embedded consideration and so does @SIAF_NG
Seek trust far above anything else when dealing with anything public related instead of massaging your ego with the noise of early adopters thriller by cult idents and the rabid lust after the new. Stop burning the trust of people and feel their pulse. Value their input & request
People will always choose trust over commotion. If we have started by seeking membership for SIAF or selling T-Shirts to inclusion in the movement, people will rather pay police than seek our help as tailored to our Ego and attempt to segregate or cherry-pick who we engage.
Learn from this. We have no secret. Selflessness begins from here. We are society. Whatever sociopolitical problem we have is no respecter of your employment status, gender, sexual preferences, social stratification, tribe or political party. Solutions thus must be holistic. 🚨 
But of course if you operate “audio advocacy” and a mere isomorphic mimicry that’s shows only activity for the sake of without with depth or sincerity, you can go ahead and take the people for granted and watch how they burst your bubble in record time. I’ve said my bit. 🎧
