Boris Johnson’s statement about Brexit was like Jeremy Corbyn saying **** the trade unions. Utterly preposterous, and particularly with the Brexit negotiations going on.
Boris has put political expediency over his convictions.
Boris should have been held to account for the words, enough is enough.

Maybe it’s time he did do something out of conviction, but I don’t think we’ll live to see the day when he does, unless he benefits the career of Boris Johnson.
That was the whole rant, and the way Iain frames that suggests that he isn't the only person in the Conservative party who believed that. If that is the case, we must conclude their members are either blowing in the wind, or they are saying other things behind closed doors.
