Very good article. But while there's plenty of well justified Corbyn blaming going on there's been less focus on a campaign that the Conservatives won comfortably because they learnt lessons from 2017.
"Strong and stable" - lousy slogan easily disproved. "Get Brexit Done" - clear, simple, if problematic in implementation. And coupled with a successful effort to show Corbyn as friend to terrorists and immigration, and weak. Lessons learnt from 2017.
Meanwhile Labour had a policy on Brexit but didn't want to talk about it, and hundreds of other policies they did. Sum up the Labour offering in a few words? Lots of free stuff and nationalisation.
Plus, under appreciated in London circles - Johnson plays well with a lot of people across the country. Saying he shouldn't isn't really helpful.
