Day 18: Let me show you how to make a video preview clip with a couple lines of code 😁🥰😇 #25DaysOfMediaMagic

And Oh, there's the URL & #NoCodeApproach
Let me outline the steps:

1. Upload a video to @cloudinary
2. Set your total duration for the preview video you want to create.
3. Layer on additional copies of the video with the corresponding beginning/end of each clip
4. Set the desired dimensions of the preview video
@cloudinary 5. Remove the audio. Well, that's optional and totally dependent on you!

So, with code, this is how you go about it. Using Node.js as an example:

Breaking it down:

- "MLB2" is the public id of the video
- duration of the clip is set to 12
- specify start offset & end offset Image
@cloudinary - Specify the "spice" layer_apply parameter to ensure the short clips of the repeating video are layered against each other.

With the URL option, this is how it will look:

That's my dashboard. I do a lot of these tricks no-programmatically from the dashboard. The Media Library provides you access to all your digital assets and is the main touchpoint into the @cloudinary DAM solution.

If you are just starting up, no one is expecting you to make a contribution to eradicate polio. Make money first before you tie your business model to some altruistic goal. When you have money & scale you can solve problems at scale, GROW before you Give.
Any business should be in the business of making money, having positive social, economic, climate or other impacts should be a planned/thought out consequence of where you want to be but cant be the cover under which you mis lead your self if your business isn't growing.
Self deception under the guise of "I'm doing it for a good cause "has killed more businesses than it has grown. Stop feeling sorry for your self because you feel sorry for others & want to help them, that help can come when you make some greenbacks. Confusing your end goal sucks

A bit late to this party, but I spent some time today trying to understand how the group_split() function from the dplyr package works. This thread illustrates its use when we need to split our data into several groups and create the same type of plot for each group. #rstats
The idea behind group_split() is simple. If we write something like this inside a function:

data %>%
group_split( {{ g }} )

then R will split the data into as many groups as unique values/categories of the factor g.
But what makes the use of group_split() a bit challenging is the fact that the data groups it creates are unnamed. So I found it easier to keep track separately of the name of the grouping variable (groupvar) and the values of the grouping variable (groupval).

(THREAD) When my son was in Gr 10 he brough home, To Kill a Mockingbird. I was angry -my child, was reading a text of a past romanticized by some, even tho it was riddled with #racism. I wondered how many texts he would read that looked like him. But he had to read that- why?
I had asked many times for a reading list of books theyd have in their English class. I asked if the texts looked like them, reflected their experiences bc #IdentityMatters. I never could get an answer. Replies included, it was a #Classic but y'all know #Classics aint #Neutral
Of course, the response when we have these convos - "Y'all want to Censor...". Funny how "#freeSpeech" and "#censorship" always come up when issues of #equity are being discussed. That our children shouldn't be exposed to #racism and #trauma they live EVERY. SINGLE. DAY

After more than 6 months of watching people get scammed by the #QAnon phenomena, I'm going to make the below thread to explain to you exactly why it is an intelligence agency-backed psyop, what techniques are being used, and why you need to stop people falling for it.
1. I referred to #QAnon today as a 'Pied Piper' operation. What I meant by this, is that the operation exists to round up people that are otherwise dangerous to the Deep State (because they are genuinely opposed to it) usurp time & attention, & trick them into serving its aims.
2. To achieve this, the operation moves through three phases.

PHASE 1: ESTABLISH CREDIBILITY.

It does this by appearing to leak insider information to the #QAnon audience. Making them feel that they are getting access to information that they otherwise wouldn't be privy to
