My guidelines and limits are slightly different. Thought I’d share mine too, in case they’re helpful:
1. I won’t attack people or name call. I can disagree with an argument or policy position but I do my best not to attack people.
2. I don’t share content I disagree with even to fact check it or say that it’s wrong. I don’t drive engagement or clicks to content that’s created in bad faith.

Instead, I will share factual information or the counter argument.
3. I make sure everg tweet can stand on its own so I don’t have to tell people to read the whole thread or that they’re taking it out of context.
4. I know tone is hard to read on here so I’m less sarcastic than I am usually.
5. If someone comes into my mentions respectfully disagreeing, I try to engage or even amplify if I think it’s worth hearing.

I don’t engage in bad faith harassment or ask my followers to pile onto a person. Sometimes I ask if they’re okay or tell them something was hurtful.
6. I give myself permission not to engage in triggering content or add my voice to the chorus of condemnation when I don’t have energy.

My voice isn’t missed and sometimes I need a break.
7. I try to amplify those with more proximity than me on things I know less about.
8. I try to be clear and precise when stating opinions. I try to share links/sources when sharing things I claim to be fact.
I really don’t get that much harassment or grief on here. Idk how much is bc of various privileges I have and how much is bc of these guidelines I have more myself but thought I’d mention that in case folks want to try them out and see how it changes your experience.
