Good morning I would be doing a thread on getting job this year as early as possible as I want to help as many brother and sisters, in life information is gold we all need to inform each other @Halal_Match @H_Foundations

In life setting of goals matter a lot and getting a job in this century could be easy and also it could be difficult depending on how you see it, when a man or woman is gainfully employed it's gives a feeling of hapiness @Halal_Match @H_Foundations

In getting a job the first thing you need to do is to prepare yourself for the tasks ahead, the first is to be physically and mentally ready for a job search

The first stage is to write a CV or resume, both words are used interchangeably in this part of the word it is a summary of who you are, what you are and your work experience and other vital Information, you need to package it very well, as it represents you @Halal_Match

A CV or Resume include the following
1. Your names, address, email and phone number
2. Work experience
3. Education
4. Skills
5 Certification
6 References
And also every other neessary professional information

The CV is your opportunity to sell yourself to prospective employer here you need to list your experience and highlight what you have done in your previous place of work and what you can do. Here you need to package yourself very well @Halal_Match

In writing CV pls avoid errors, if you finish with a low grade don't write it, ensure you use Fonts consistently, avoid repetition, ensure it is neat, age, state of origin, religion, references, and sex is not necessary unless it's a government job @Halal_Match

Once your CV is well packged applying for job is the next things to do
Once you see an advert Read it very well and digest it before you apply for it
When applying for a job ensure you send ur CV in PDF format, ensure your email subject is the title of the advert @Halal_Match

In applying for a Job never send only your CV to a recruiter always include a cover letter
A cover letter is a an application letter that accompany a CV and it entails
1. Introduce yourself
2. State why you are fit for the job
3. State your experience @Halal_Match

Ur cover letter is your sure way of giving the recruiter a good first impression about urself and it's very important
As a graduate you can excel in lots of field once you have ur bsc you can work in different sector it doesn't have to be what you study in school @Halal_Match

When applying for any job be very confident and believe you can get it even if you don't have the years of experience they want just give it a try
Now you have to be very Informed and get update so as to apply on time @Halal_Match
You need to join WhatsApp and telegram job Grp

Information is very vital there are lots of job and Instagram whatapp group that you can join for information lots of legit jobs are being circulated daily that you can get hold of and possibly apply @Halal_Match

If you have been applying for job for a long time and you have not been contacted called for an interview then something is wrong Fix it , most firms use a software called ATS to sort CV it works on keyword mad once those keyword are not on ur CV it reject it @Halal_Match

Once you apply and you are called for interview on do research about d firm on Google or nairaland before going to avoid scam, prepare yourself very well and be bold and confident tell yourself you are getting the job and be calm about, arrive on time. @Halal_Match
