As some have said, no one really thought that Soleimani would ever be gone. This is how hero worship works. It's by design. I spent my time looking at Syria with the knowledge that he was a big reason as to why the Assad regime survived the revolution. Now I'm just waiting.
Everything Jehad said in this thread. My concern is for the Iraqi protesters now. They are the ones that have showed what a different Iraq can look like.
