It's clear now that the killing of Maj. Gen. Qassem #Soleimani, the long-time leader of Iran’s paramilitary Quds Force, is a watershed moment for the Middle East.

Here's what's happened since in the days that followed:
2/ In the wake of Soleimani's killing, tensions with Iran have only escalated.

Thousands of mourners flooded the streets of Baghdad Saturday and called for revenge against the US.
