Anika Roy(21)Hindu College married Women, kidnapped from her father’s house on 25Dec19 at about 11 night while she came to visit her father’s house.She was kidnapped by 3 Muslim perpetrators with a view to convert her into Islam from Hinduism. Its an everyday routine work in BD. 
The name of the perpetrators are : 1) Md. Nahid Hasan-22, 2) Md.Nasir Hyder-60, 3) Md.Sabuj (35) all of village Tamburabad, Demra P.S, Dhaka.
Akhil Chandra Roy-Father of the victim lodged First information report (FIR) at Demra police station with the help of BDMW president Adv. Rabindra Ghosh being Demra P.S. case No.04 dated 04.01.2020 under section 7/30 of Nari O Shishu Nirjaton Daman Ain,2003.
On the basis of appeal filed by parents of the victim, BDMW contacted with Md.Rafiqul Islam, O.C.(investigation) who said case has been recorded against 3 perpetrators & he also said a copy of affidavit of conversion sworn in by victim & accused perpetrator No.1 was made earlier.
Police could arrest one of the perpetrators Md.Nasir Hyder in connection with this case and he is now in custody. Police also said more accused will be arrested if their whereabouts are located.
Bangladesh Minority Watch is very much concerned about kidnapping and endeavor to convert this Hindu girl (married) by dubious means. The Victim should be rescued and the perpetrators should be brought to book as per law of the country.
