This article is a prime example of why you shouldn't listen to Ann Coulter. Her main point is valid but then she conveniently leaves out all the progress that Trump has accomplished over the last 3 years to address that main point.

Trump isn't "consumed" with Iran. Iran if anything has been a side project with him. The same as North Korea or Syria or any number of foreign "hotspots". Trump has directed more time, energy and effort to securing the border, deportations, and reducing illegal immigration than
..any modern President besides maybe IKE. Yet, if you read Ann's article, she wants you to believe that because Iran is in the spotlight this week all that effort over the last 3 years didn't happen.
I agree that the media and the federal government should spend more time reporting on and resources securing our country from the ravages of immigration both legal and illegal than protecting/fighting in foreign countries but to suggest that Trump is more concerned
..with Iran and the middle East than the border and fixing immigration is just nonsense. Its an old trick that many writers (and those trying to feed a pill to an animal) use. They wrap the lie (pill) in the truth (food) so people (animals) more easily swallow the lie (pill).

Let's look at the narrative that Russia tried to interfere in our elections.

On the surface this is true but what exactly did they do?

They are accused of using social media to run some ads/propaganda

And

They "hacked" emails from DNC and Podesta

And tried it with RNC.
Hence, Mueller's indictments on the Russian "troll farm".

Fine, let's say all that is true ( I know Seth Rich, passw@rd, WikiLeaks defense etc) but just for shits and giggles let's say it's all true.

So what?
The "ads/propaganda" was a small amount less than 100k, compared to the billions spent on the election this was a grain of sand on a beach. It was less that nothing.

But ...but....but...the emails.

Not one person has claimed any of the emails from the DNC nor Podesta were fake

These two articles are a great example of subjective propaganda. Both articles use the same FACTS to reach different OPINIONS (spin).

The facts are that US box office revenue is expected to hit around 11.4 billion for 2019. Last year saw 11.88 billion revenue.
Each article uses the exact same numbers to reach two different and opposite conclusions. In one Hollywood is failing. In the other Hollywood is doing great. So which is it? Who is right? Is Hollywood heading to the trash heap or will Hollywood have banner years?
The answer is probably neither. Increased ticket prices probably has a lot to do with increased revenue. Less sales at higher prices is more likely the story. Crappy movies in 2019 probably had an impact as well as a good economy allowing the higher prices to be absorbed better.

6 fewer shopping days and a 3.4% increase in sales. (*this is data from MasterCard activity and ESTIMATES of cash &other payments types)

I would expect it is higher and will be revised up in the coming days/weeks. If not, the number is still very good.

For instance in 2017 the same MasterCard report stated that sales increased by 4.9%. However, on Jan 15, 2018 the much more detailed First Data spendtrend report stated the increase was actually 6.2%
A final point. Gift cards are not counted until they are used which means this next weekend will change the results of total sales as people go shopping with all those gift cards they got for Christmas.

The administration has, for once, done the right thing: it not only destroyed #Iranian imperial infrastructure but shed blood. The people blaming #Trump for surfacing the not-so-hidden tensions in a policy he continued from #Obama are either delusional or dishonest.
