Since 2004, Dr. Manmohan Singh worked to reduce terrorism and was successful

MMS had said "We want situation in Valley to become normal & #KashmiriPandits who had to live as refugees in their own country would return back in peaceful atmosphere & live in tranquillity and peace"
In 2008, PM Manmohan gave a ₹1600-cr package for helping 50,000 #KashmiriPandits families return home

🔸Housing grant of ₹7.5 lakh per family
🔸Land for Housing societies
🔸6000 Govt Job Reservations which were availed
🔸Educational reservation & Waiver of Interest on Loans
PM Manmohan succeeded in reducing terrorism in Kashmir, creating an atmosphere plus giving incentives for Pandits to return.

Under Modi, terrorism increased again!

With the revocation of Article 370 & Kashmir mostly under curfew, what is Modi govt's plan for #KashmiriPandits?
BJP must stop using Pandits as electoral pawns & work along with other parties and stakeholders in Kashmir to bring peace and settle #KashmiriPandits in their native land

But is BJP interested? Pandits deserve Justice. Not Politics.

Despite opposition from the state govt, New Delhi appointed Jagmohan as governor, and in protest, the state govt, led by CM Farooq Abdullah, resigned. The state went under President’s rule. On the night of January 19, 1990 – the day Jagmohan was appointed governor –
Kashmiri Pandits left the valley in large numbers for Jammu and other parts of India.
